Portugal Nomads takes you on an unforgettable adventure along the coast of Portugal, one of the most beautiful road trip destinations in Europe. We organize this trip with a team of passionate travelers, adventurers, and locals who all share one thing in common: a deep love for Portugal.
Our goal is to help you discover the adventurous side of Portugal, from iconic surf spots to hidden coves and everything in between. We know the destination inside and out and are excited to take you on a journey along the west coast and the sunny Algarve.
Our team is made up of travel experts with a passion for nature & adventure. Together with our local partners in Portugal, we work year-round on Portugal Nomads. This way, we can offer you the most unique travel experience that we hope will create lifelong memories.
2010 - The adventure begins
Our search for adventure began with a road trip to Barcelona in 2010. Since then, our mission at Travelbase has been to create the most adventurous trips. One thing quickly became clear: Portugal was calling... 🌍
Our search for the perfect road trip destination
After the success of our first road trips, we wanted to discover a unique destination in southern Europe. We settled on a region we already knew, but whose versatility and charm amazed us all over again.
Algarve, Portugal
With its endless beaches, rugged cliffs and atmospheric villages, the Algarve in Portugal was an easy choice, combining adventure, nature and culture.
Our own vans
In 2025, we decided to buy our own vans and convert them into the ideal campervans for an adventure through the Algarve. Since 2026, our own Portugal Nomads minivans have been cruising along Portugal's coastal roads!
